The event will take place from 5pm, with staged performances in The Square, food stalls and rides and market stalls along the Weir. The lights will be switched on at 6.30pm, by the Town Mayor of Hessle, Cllr John Bovill, Father Christmas and characters from this year's pantomime - Robinson Crusoe.
The Square and surrounding streets
The Hessle Christmas Lights are usually switched on the last Friday in November. A staged event and Christmas market with over 30 stalls usually brighten up the Square, The Weir and Prestongate.
